Have you ever been so far out that the trail disappears and the path is marked only by cairns stretching into the distance? Have you ever been so far that the cairns start to crumble and fall down? That's where my spirit lives.
In all seriousness, this is a blog about my life. The idea is to keep my life exciting enough to keep blogging about it and posting pictures. If that fails then hopefully I'll at least be taking pictures of something pretty.
When I created this site it was about 3 months before joining the Peace Corps and going to Tanzania. I figured it would be nice for the people I left behind to be able to see what I'm up to. It's really for them.
